Brief on UMX Studio

UMX Studio

A company develops and publishes games launching from the Arab environment on a mission to reach to the Global and support the Arab industry and promote it as an industry and a new sector to create jobs and supports the economy. UMX Launched the first game on smartphones on 23/06/2014 and this was followed by the transformation of UMX to a company to develop games in 2016.

Firstly, we believe that challenges are an important part in success way. They refine the human’s talents and experiences, they lead him to the next level of creativity. Most challenges convert to great opportunities. Our challenges like:

• The field is still new in our region:

The cumulative knowledge and experiences are limited. Research and development in it need a double effort and mistakes are imperative in a normal path during the development mission but the repetition of mistakes is unacceptable.

• The speed of development of the gaming sector:

This sector is changing very quickly and keeping up with it, is required to remain in market so we must strive to develop ourselves daily. UMX Studio has an account in Udemy enables any person to use the paid educational content.

    The content is basic in it and it must be continued through seasons or updates.

                                                                                      We use development: Google Drive, Slack, ClickUp, Bit Bucket. You are supposed to have access for all services if you are from Development team.

                                                                                      Plugins and Assets: You can find in UMX storage in google drive. Please when you use it, check for updates if it’s available or not. If out of updates ask project manager if he can’t update it. Tell your manager to ask COO Dakshil to update it.

                                                                                      If you are a project manager, then you need to put a delivery date for DEMO or the project continuously and it is one of your biggest responsibilities.

                                                                                      Department's Mission: The department responsible for quality in all games, providing all important references for teams, testing products, deep testing, achieving communication between all teams, and meet all their needs

                                                                                      1. Write the roadmap and content draft for each product as well as a roadmap for copying like (here).

                                                                                      2. Ensuring games and their contents do not violate Sharia or other religions or incite violence, gender, drugs, or local laws.

                                                                                      Department Head: Ahmad Helmy Al-Ahmadi

                                                                                      Department's Mission: The section that receives customer complaints and suggestions.

                                                                                      Objectives :
                                                                                      1. Provide weekly technical support reports to project managers through the game channel itself or the project managers channel which is the most 3 negative comments and 3 most positive comments.

                                                                                      2. Each user is answered with a welcome phrase and the annoyed user is treated with respect and the matter is not taken personally.

                                                                                      3. Any user who paid in the game is treated with a special treatment and compensates for the loss that occurred to him and the department head is free to compensate him according to what he sees after verifying the truth of his claim

                                                                                      4. Any major problems such as the game stalling, crashing and preventing the game from working or a glitch for something that player paid, an immediate action must be taken with the technical department without any delay.

                                                                                      5. Small problems and flip-flops are discussed with the technical department for consideration, whether to modify or not, if modify, they will be added to the click-up.

                                                                                                      Attendance:
                                                                                                      The employee must abide by the working hours and not underestimate them. In case of delay, it is necessary to inform the direct manager with coordination with HR.

                                                                                                          - Every employee completes a year, he is entitled with 12 days to leave. The employee must find a replacement during his leave and hand overall       work.
                                                                                                          - In official leave 12 days, if the employee does not use it, he will be compensated with or he takes leave.
                                                                                                          - The new employee can take 7 days when he exceeds 6 months.
                                                                                                          - When in notice period all leaves will be considered as a Paid leave.
                                                                                                          - Marriage leave: 5 days, Marriage leave is extra and it is for the employee wedding only.
                                                                                                          - Maternity leave: 90 working days paid. Must be taken at once, and includes the prenatal, postpartum and postpartum period. The date of the       leave commences is determined on the basis of the doctor’s report indicating the approximate date of birth so that the leave begins 45 days             before that date. The employee gets the full monthly salary during this period. This period is not counted from any other leaves the employee is       entitled to.
                                                                                                          - Paternity leave: 3 days. It starts from the date of birth of a new baby.
                                                                                                          - National holidays: They are taken according to your geographical location (Saudi holidays and National Day - India Diwali and some small              occasions).
                                                                                                          - Sick leave: 8 provided upfront & it must be proven. The employee takes 12 days paid leave and 3⁄4 of salary if more than 60 days and after that              unpaid leave during the year.
                                                                                                          - Death Leave: 5 days in the event of the death of the employee’s wife, origins, or branches.
                                                                                                          - Permission: it will be taken from the annual leave, and what exceeds, it will be considered a deducted day.

                                                                                                              All contents, tools, and products of the company, whether they are an employee or a group, are the exclusive right and intellectual property of UMX Studio only.

                                                                                                      • Compensation:

                                                                                                      Upon resignation:
                                                                                                              We at UMX Studio feel sadness by the resignation of any employee, regardless of his position.
                                                                                                              If you have any problems or comments of any kind, please contact your direct manager.                                                                                                               In case of a desire to resign, you must inform your direct manager orally, then send an email to him and cc to the executive director:[email protected]
                                                                                                      The period of resignation is 45 days, all jobs and tasks must be handed over to the direct manager, and no dues will be cleared until hand over is done, even if the hand over the period is long.

                                                                                                      In the case of termination:
                                                                                                      If one of the employees violates work ethics such as stealing business, communicating with competitors without permission, disclosing information, tricking the company or one of his colleagues, damaging one of his colleagues or the company, the employee will be terminated, and the terminated employee will bear all damages and he is not entitled to claim end-of-service compensation or any Other benefits and rights.
